Steven Jacobs has been involved with people development and empowerment all his working life. In 2003, Steve took over as Executive Director of The Natural Step, Southern Africa (TNS). TNS assists companies to examine the impact that their operations have on the environment and adopt sound principles of Sustainable Development to reduce their ecological footprint. Some 75 SA companies have adopted this approach. Steve specializes in Personal Empowerment, Basic Management and Leadership Development, Teambuilding, Creative Learning, Diversity, and Interpersonal Skills workshops, and has an impressive client base.

She has been nominated for various awards including Safta Best Soap Actress in 2006, and the former Duku Duku Awards for Best Soap Actress 2002, 2003 and 2006. She was the recipient of the Duku Duku Award for Best Soap Actress in 2003 and Star in You Kids Award for Favourite Soap Actress 2006.

He has travelled all over the country, performing for various events, and across our African Borders, to perform in Zambia and Namibia. Skirting around the relatively taboo topics with charm and ease this comedy doctor will split your sides and keep you in stitches at the same time. Now, a regular headliner on comedy circuits all over South Africa, Riaad is also a sought after act for the bigger productions. He has starred in the Alex Jay 5fm Comedy Jams and Real Concert’s Winston King Size Comedy shows, headlining the Sprite Soul Comedy Jams in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
 
Dr Iraj Abedian - New Speaker Dr Iraj Abedian - Chief Executive: Pan-African Holdings
Iraj Abedian is the founder and Chief Executive of Pan-African Capital Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He was professor of economics at the University of Cape Town, before joining Standard Bank Group in 2000 as Group Chief Economist. He obtained his BA (Honours) and MA in Economics from UCT. He received his PhD in Economics from Simon Fraser University in Canada in 1993. He was the founder and Director of the Applied Fiscal Research Centre (AFReC) at UCT and he has been a consultant on economics policy issues to public and private sector organizations in South Africa as well as internationally.

Peter van Kets was the joint winner of the the Atlantic Rowing Race 2007, which started from San Sebastian, La Gomera in December 2007 and finished 5000km away at Nelsons Dockyard, Antigua. Competitors not only had to propel themselves across the ocean, but also had to be completely self sufficient in the process. Seemingly not satisfied with the thrill and adventure that went with winning the 5438km Woodvale Atlantic pairs, Peter van Kets has decided that the challenge of going it alone was just too tempting. If victorious in the race, which is expected to begin in December 2009, Van Kets will become the first man to win both the Atlantic singles and pairs.

Shaun Bartlett made his full international debut in a friendly against Lesotho on April 26, 1995. He is currently the 2nd all-time leading scorer behind Benni McCarthy for the South African national team, with 28 goals in 74 appearances. He helped his country to the 1996 African Nations Cup and played in the 1998 FIFA World Cup, scoring two goals.
