With the end of the year – and all its celebrations – coming up, don’t wait too long
to book your excellent Master of Ceremonies or Entertainer!

Riaad performs at:

The Playhouse, Durban
27 – 30 October 2008

Riaad Moosa, who is a qualified medical doctor, is one of the hottest tickets in South African comedy today. His humour is based on his experiences as a young Muslim relating to post-911 Islamophobia, growing up in Cape Town and general observational and opinion-based humour.

Skirting around the relatively taboo topics with charm and ease this comedy doctor will split your sides and keep you in stitches at the same time. He is an experienced comic, MC and facilitator and has performed at scores of corporate events, and hosted such illustrious events at the Loerie Awards. Riaad has been seen across the country in the Heavyweight Comedy Jams, as part of Laugh Out Loud (the largest stand-up show in South African TV history), and on the King Size Comedy line-ups. He has supported Mark Curry and Russel Peters on their respective local tours, and headlined The New South Africa Stands Up at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2003. As an accomplished writer and performer, he has also been seen on SABC 1’s The Pure Monate Show. His one-man show, Stricty Halaal, was a massive countywide hit in 2006 & 2007.

Say 'the cousin' and everybody knows exactly who you're talking about, my china!

Barry Hilton is a household name in South Africa and audiences love his irrepressible sense of humour! He is a skilful, generous and engaging entertainer who pulls out all the stops for audiences across the country and his shows are invariably sold out well in advance.

Known (and loved) as the cleanest comic around, his unique brand of humour has an uncanny ability to entertain and it shows an awareness of the fine line between laughing at and laughing with the jokes about an array of 'sensitive' issues.

NEWS FLASH: Barry Hilton takes the lead in new movie (September 2008)
Moviworld, the producers of Oscar-winning South African film, Tsotsi, commence shooting on a comedy in Johannesburg this September. Titled Finding Lenny, the new movie follows a series of misfortunes that befall its lead character, Lenny, (played by Barry Hilton) and his triumphant return to happiness when circumstances (and soccer) collide to provide him with some interesting new options in life.

Barry performs at:

Broadacres Barnyard, JHB
21 - 25 October 2008

John performs at:

Cool Runnings, Melville

As one of South Africa’s most prolific comedians, John is well-known for his versatility and punishing schedule. Whether he’s writing material in a hotel suite with Jerry Springer, representing his country on stage in a Canadian festival with Drew Carrey following him, hosting a prime-time talk show or entertaining business leaders at their function, he’ll deliver the goods in his signature high-octane style.

Vlismas is a favourite amongst South Africans living abroad and regularly travels to London to cheer up the masses of us over there. He’s featured at the Berlin festival, garnered favourable reviews in Melbourne, and still tours with the largest comedy productions in South Africa; the Kingsize Comedy Jams. He has also been very involved with South African Tourism’s campaign in Australia, including a gala performance at the Sydney Opera House.

On 17 September 2007 John was victorious in the category “Best Stand-up of the Year” at the prestigious South African Comedy Awards, where he was up against comedy giants Riaad Moosa and David Newton.

An incredibly talented comic impressionist, Aggrey's lighthearted impersonations of our country's leading political figures are just the tonic that any conference or gala evening needs to invigorate the pace of a business orientated programme. Aggrey had delighted audiences from Madiba's birthday parties to the top major corporate events.

Aggrey has also entertained at "Black History" month events held in California, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee, USA, and due to popular demand, was invited to delight audiences at 4th of July celebrations.

His impersonations of well-known persons include Thabo Mbeki, Nelson Mandela, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Eugene Terreblanche, FW de Klerk, Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Manto Tshabalala-Msimang and many others.

Invite Aggrey and his friends to entertain you!

“Aggrey’s impersonations are the best! Sometimes better than the originals!”
Francis Raffner – Liberty Life Association of Africa Ltding.
